This fall, I've had the pleasure of working with Jenn Bokoch Gillett and an all-female ensemble of theatre creators to help develop 2 original interview theatre plays at Brooklyn Arts Exchange. Tokophobia explores themes of pregnancy and birth, and Monks in the Inner City (working title) examines a group of radical Benedictine nuns in Erie, PA. It's been so exciting to experiment with both movement and text and to see how each piece has already evolved during our rehearsal period. Both of these plays will culminate this stage in their development processes in early December.
